Welcome to our Ski race page for Park City & Deer Valley Utah!
First a bit of background:
Deer Valley is one of the premier ski resorts in America. Located in Park City Utah, Deer Valley features a ski only resort (sorry snowboarders!), and some of the most pristine groomed runs anywhere. Park City & Deer Valley are famous for the Utah “champagne powder”. Deer Valley is comprised of several mountains that include: Empire, Lady Morgan, Little Baldy Peak, Bald Mountain, Bald Eagle Mountain, and Flagstaff Mountain. There are approximately 100 runs at Deer Valley which are comprised of 27% easy, 41% intermediate, 32% advanced ski trails. Deer Valley also features 21 lifts of which: 1 is a gondola, 11 high speed quads, 2 fixed grip quads, 5 triples, and 2 double chair lifts. Deer Valley is a tremendous ski resort that covers over 560 acres.
Despite being located near other popular ski resorts like The Canyons, and Park City, Deer Valley caters to a higher end and upscale clientele. Some of the attributes that make skiing at Deer Valley special include free ski valets, exquisite dining that rivals nationally recognized award winning restaurants, boutique shopping, and free parking shuttles. And in the Stein Eriksen Lodge, you can even find spa facilities that really are wonderful to use after a hard day of skiing. Another great perk, Deer Valley ski resort limits crowds by capping ticket sales to a maximum of 6500 persons per day so you can get more out of your ski experience beyond standing in line for a life.
